Post a link to, or embed your quad's Learning Resource on the page below. A brief introduction to your chapter and its contents, "props" to each group member's individual responsibilities, and an honest rundown of "Yays" and "Nays" - thank Veronica and her quad for the idea - will help viewers of this page have context for the variety of projects they are seeing.
Chapter 3 - Jen A, Jen S, Andrew, Donya
We did our project on Chapter 3, which was mainly about Grant Hadwin's start in the logging business. We also learned a lot about what kind of person Grant Hadwin was. We created online Facebook profiles for the main characters in Grant Hadwin's life, and had them comment on the various events detailed in the chapter that Grant posted about.

Chapter 4 - Veronica, Elleni, Clayton, and Owen
Golden Spruce Quad Project
We did our project on Chapter 4, which was about the First Nations and Skilay and all that jazz. We presented our information in the form of a radio show, where yours truly, Veronica, is the radio host, and Clayton and Elleni make up the guest list as Bill and Priscilla respectively.
Props to…
Elleni for being an awesome cranky lady!
Clayton for speaking clearly and tackling those long lines!
Veronica for the effects editing! Plus the awesome nervous laugh near the beginning…
Owen for doing the vocal editing!
Yays
Writing our script like two weeks before. On task much?
Finished a week ago, so we had plenty of time for math, PLUS we didn’t have to stress about this project because it was over and done with really fast!
The awesome radio fizzy effect at the very end. Cool right? Thank me.
The background music turns sad when Bill talks about Skilay’s death. We totally didn’t intend that to happen!
Nays
Took us a long time to practice our lines.
The vocals are SLIGHTLY quiet, so please folks, turn up your volume! I promise you, it sounds way better with the volume up.
Chapter 9 - Conrad, Stephanie, Mahalia
http://www.box.net/shared/anzb9vzb5j
Our project was based on Chapter 9 Myth which was about origin of the Golden Spruce. We chose to do a podcast featuring Stephanie as the reporter/ host, Conrad as Grant Hadwin's friend, and Mahalia as a representative of the native people.
Props to:
Stephanie/Conrad for writing the script
Mahalia for being an amazing representative
Stephanie for reporting and hosting the show
Conrad for giving a convincing argument
Yays
A smooth recording session
Amazing news jingle
Good drama and arguments
Nays
Took a long time to record with many bloopers
Could have written longer script
Some external sounds in the background...
Chapter 5 - Alvin, Daniel, Emily, Michelle

Props to: Emily van der Velden: Narrator Alvin Cho: Captain Kendrick Michelle Per: Captain Brown, Henry, Howel Daniel Luo: Aidan, Robert, Earnest, editing the video, ADDING CREDITS *cough, cough

1) Good animations 2) Diversity in voices 3) Accurate events
Neighs:
1) Choppy parts 2) Editing was rushed 3) Little effort in voicing characters
We decided to do a newspaper about the events that happened in the chapter. The chapter was about the mystery around the disappearance of Grant Hadwin and so we decided to use this to build police reports, letters from the public, and our main story.

Chapter 9- The Myth
Jonathan, Rebecca, Immy, Jason We decided to create a slideshow along with a scripted audio, which can be found here, on Youtube. Our chapter was about two things; the legend of how the Golden Spruce was created, and the life of a Haida in the modern world.
Props to: 1: Immy, for doing all of the voice editing and creating the slideshow. 2: Rebecca, for keeping us on track and giving us great ideas. 3: Jason, for creating the first version of our script, and giving us the groundwork for our project. 4: Jonathan, for helping find pictures for the slideshow. Yays: 1: We were able to work together without almost any difficulties. 2: The project looks great. 3: We were able to use our time effectively. 4: We were dedicated enough to work on it together outside of school. Nays: 1: There was a bit of background noise. 2: We could have revised the script a few more times to make it perfect. 3: We could have added more to make it more in-depth.
